If you were to watch television nowadays you would be bombarded by an assortment of modern television culture like the reality shows that everyone is addicted to especially the younger generations. The reality show can follow the personal life of people, of a family, a reality about surviving in a deserted island, and love life of teenagers or people. Another brand of reality television show that came out is a show that presents medical issues to the common man to see if he can find ways or means to solve problems that medical experts can’t answer and solve. The medical issue that was first presented in the show was about cellulite. The medical issue was to find the best treatment to eliminate the cellulite in our body in term of long term effect. It has been a problem for the medical society to eliminate or reduce cellulite that could last for awhile or has a long term effect. Since most medical experts believe that cellulite is a hereditary problem making it difficult to counter or eliminate. The reality television show will follow six groups of people. Each group consisting of four average people for a total of sixteen weeks will be filmed to see which group can find the best treatment.
Rules of the Show
Like most contest we are involved or attempt to join in there are always rules to make sure the contest presents equal opportunities to those who are joining the said event. The first rule of the show is that the participants should not be doctors. The participants are given a time frame of sixteen weeks to create the best cellulite treatment the number of working hours is up to the contestants or the groups they can work up late if they want to. The group can only consult member from their own group and can’t receive any help from those outside their circle or group. They are given study materials such the books, the use of computers and medical journals. They have to develop the best cellulite treatment and prove that it is effective in long term and short term as well. The groups should also conduct a study that shows that they’re method works so they are allowed to have human test subjects.
The Winner’s Prize
After the time frame of sixteen weeks the groups best cellulite treatment will be evaluated by a panel of medical experts and will try to verify the results of the experiments. The group who qualifies for the price will receive a total of one million dollars and a possibility of a Nobel Prize for their efforts and sheer ingenuity. The winning group will also have statues erected for their achievement and success. If it is successful in a long term prospect they will receive an additional of five hundred thousand dollars each year as long as they are alive.
